Austrian ½ Iron-Triathlon (Saturday May 7, 2011)
1.800m swim 2 laps
86km bike 2 laps
21 km run 2 laps
· international open race (annual license 2011 or daily licence necessary)
· Styrian Championships Juniors, U23, Elite, Masters 30-70 / women and men
· Relay race (for 2 or 3 competitors), ranking for male, female and mixed teams

Transition area = in front of Gasthof Röcksee
Swim course
2 laps in the western part of the lake - the lake is at this time of the year usually 19°C warm!
Total length: 1.800m
Wetsuits are allowed
Bike course
2 laps of 40km each, + out-and-back part to the race centre, total length: 86km
From the race centre to Misselsdorf and Gosdorf, then north via Wittmannsdorf, Edla, Bierbaum, Aug until Unterauersbach, den over the hill to Gnas and back to Gosdorf via Raning, Grabersdorf, Trössing, Dietersdorf, Hofstätten, Schrötten, Deutsch Goritz, Ratschendorf. Lap 2 starts in Gosdorf! The bike course is right-hand course!
Drafting forbidden! Tri-bars are allowed!
Running course
2 laps: of 10,5 km

Total length: 21km
From the race centre in eastern direction until "Murturm", return to the race centre and take the way to Schiffsmühle (western direction). Return to the race centre for a second lap.

The registration is only valid when the registration fee has been paid!
Deadline for registration: May 2, 2011 or after the limit of participants (400 athletes) has been reached.
REGISTRATION FEE
1/2-Iron-Triathlon until 31.12.2010 (early booking): € 59,-from 01.01.2011 until 02.05.2011: € 75,- (May 2 is the deadline for entries for the individual race!)
1/2-Iron-Triathlon relay € 120,-
The registration fee contains:
· Free entrance to the competitions
· Champion-chip timing
· drinks on the bike section
· drinks on the running section
· souvenir
· Pasta Party and drinks at the victory ceremony
· Material prizes are either dedicated to a place or given away in a raffle
Cancellation of registration (in written!) until April 19, 2011 50% cancellation fee
after that date 100% cancellation fee
It is possible to pass on one's slot to another athlete without the payment of a cancellation fee until May 1, 2011 It is possible to transfer one's slot to the AUSTRIAN 1/2-IRON-TRIATHLON GRAZ 2012 without the payment of a cancellation fee until May 5, 2011. A waiting list will be operable from May 2 on. Athletes from the waiting list eligible to compete in the 2011 event will be notified immediately
