Austrian ½ Iron-Triathlon (Saturday May 8, 2010)

2150m swim 1 lap
80km bike 2 laps
20 km run 4 laps           
            · international open race (annual license 2010 or daily licence necessary)
            · Styrian Championships Juniors, U23, Elite, Masters 40-65 / women and men

            · Relay race (for 2 or 3 competitors), ranking for male, female and mixed teams

Kids/Youth AQUATHLON (Saturday, Mai 8, 2010)

50m swim // 500m run for kids born 1999 and before (awards in the specific year category)
100m swim // 1000m run for "Schüler B" (born 97 - 98) and A (born 95 - 96)
200m swim // 2000m run for youth (born 93 - 94) and juniors (born 91 - 92)

RACE COURSES 1/2-IRON-TRIATHLON

Transition area = northern parking area (also parking area!)
 
Swim course
1 big lap starting from the northern part of the lake, passing the bridge to the southern part (Steiermarkhalle) and back.
Total length: 2150m
Wetsuits are allowed
 
Bike course 
2 laps of 40km each, demanding.  There are 5 hills in each lap.
Total length: 80km
Total difference in altitude: 1200m
Drafting forbidden!
Tri-bars are allowed!
 
Running course
4 laps: of 5km
almost flat
Total length: 20km
 
Finish
On the northern parking lot.

Trophies for the first 3 of each category, medals for the first 3 of each category

A written registration for all triathlon races is necessary. This can be done:

The registration is only valid when the registration fee has been paid!

REGISTRATION FEE

Aquathlon: no entry fee

1/2-Iron-Triathlon until 31.12.2009  (early booking): € 55,-
from 01.01.2010 until 01.05.2010: € 69,- (May 1 is the deadline for entries for the individual race!)
1/2-Iron-Triathlon relay  € 110,- 

The registration fee contains:
· Free entrance to "Schwarzl-Freizeit-Zentrum competitions)
· Champion-chip timing
· drinks on the bike section (2 in each lap)
· drinks on the running section (2 in each lap)
· drinks and refreshment after finishline
. 2 water stations at km 1 and 3
· souvenir
· Pasta Party and drinks at the victory ceremony
· Material prizes are either dedicated to a place or given away in a raffle

Cancellation of registration (in written!) until April 20, 2010 50% cancellation fee
after that date 100% cancellation fee 

It is possible to pass on one's slot to another athlete without the payment of a cancellation fee until May 1, 2010 It is possible to transfer one's slot to the AUSTRIAN 1/2-IRON-TRIATHLON GRAZ 2011 without the payment of a cancellation fee until May 6, 2010 A waiting list will be operable from May 1 on. Athletes from the waiting list eligible to compete in the 2010 event will be notified immediately

PAYMENT OF THE REGISTRATION FEE

There are 2 possibilities to pay the registration fee:
1. Payment with credit card (VISA or MASTER CARD)
Please indicate your wish to pay with your credit card on the inscription form. You will then be contacted seperately.
2. Transfer to the organisers account

Dressing rooms and showers are available.

IMPORTANT

The organiser does not accept any liability for damages of any kind. The  program is subject to changes.
The rules and regulations of the Austrian Triathlon Federation and the International Triathlon Federation fully apply.
Wearing of a helmet during the bike section is compulsory
